Marvelous Monthly - How do I wear thee? Let me count the ways....



One of the things I have noticed more and more in Second Life is the additions of texture change huds to items to allow more customization.  The outfit above is a great example of this.  The TRS shirt has 30 options.  The jeans from Finesmith have 11 options for the jeans and 4 for the belt.  The shoes are divided into 5 sections that can all be tailored to whatever is being worn at the time. I truly enjoyed putting this outfit together for the Marvelous Monthly event.  I also enjoyed going to the SL version of the Calas Galadhon sim to take the picture you see above.

Marvelous Monthly - All "Meshed" up and Somewhere to Go



Welcome back - unless this is your first visit then just welcome *smiles*

For a long while now I have had mesh bodies and heads floating around my inventory (and only in Second Life does that not sound strange *laughs*).   For this round of Marvelous Monthly I decided to do something with them and created a whole new look from the ground up.  I am rather pleased with the look.  It gave me a chance to do something I adore doing and something you will see alot of here at Sweet Pea Lane - pairing old things (like the Bliss Couture hair style) and the new (like the makeup from Slack Girl).  The complete style card and other details are below.  Hopefully you will be able to visit the event when it opens to see the other great things for sale.

Marvelous Monthly - Yhishie by the Sea









Welcome.  When I first seen this outfit by Posh Pixels I immediately began thinking of the ocean.  So I headed to the nearest available beach, which happened to be Las Islas.    This is a beautiful sim - with crashing waves, sandy beaches, little huts, islands and a small jungle.   I suppose it is rather fitting to have a nautical theme to the outfit in today's post.  The blogging thing for me is a new endeavor - striking out into unknown waters, not knowing for sure whats on the distant horizon.   But like any good sailor I am going to rise to the waves of challenge.  So only one more thing needs to be said:

"Anchors Aweigh!"

Hello and Welcome to Sweet Pea Lane

The first one was created to be a tribute to one of my favourite Second Life stores and was not meant to go further than that.  The second one was created as a hobby of sorts for things I wanted to do in Second Life under the business title Sweet Pea Lane.   Then real life happened and the hobby got put aside for a while.   In the past month or so opportunities have come my way to brush the dust off of Sweet Pea Lane and so I decided to merge the two blogs into this one.

Basically what you will find here is anything related to my Second Life avatar, Yhishara Cerise.  So you will find mostly images taken while in Second Life of outfits I have put together or beautiful landscapes found in world.   You will also see promotions of events I am a part of in some way.

I have also included in this intro post links to where else I can be found under the name Yhishara.
